Baruch Maoz will be with us this Sunday!

Baruch Maoz from Israel will be at Berean this weekend and will be preaching on Sunday at 11:15 am. Baruch has been a long time friend to me and to Berean, and his passion for Christ and the gospel has been such a blessing to many all over the world. Baruch's web site is http://www.themaozweb.com.

Please be praying for our services while Baruch is with us. I thank the Lord for the many new visitors we have had these past several months. The Berean family is doing a good job reaching out to their friends and family.

If you have not read God Does Exist by Michael A. Robinson, you are missing a real blessing. Please order that book on Kindle and read it carefully. A Christian that does not witness and share his faith is a Christian that is disobedient to the great commission. May we be faithful in spreading the message of Christ as far as we can.

Here is some info on Baruch from his web site.

To date, Baruch is the only author writing Christian literature n Hebrew.

Love Worth Fighting For

I had an opportunity to attend a marriage seminar this past weekend with my son Bobby, and my wife Mary along with Don Freeze from Berean in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This was a seminar with Kirk Cameron who is joined by Crown Financial Ministries. This was the best seminar I have ever attended on marriage and family life. I would recommend that if this comes to a city near you that you make an effort to attend it with your wife or husband and bring as many friends as you can.

As I sat in the audience and listened to the powerful, Spirit filled lessons of Kirk Cameron my heart was blessed, searched, convicted, and revived. I highly recommend this to our Berean family. Our wives and husbands, our families and children are worth fighting for.

A week from Sunday we will have with us Baruch Maoz from Israel. please plan on attending the services as this will be a great blessing to all of us. Baruch has been one of the ministries that we have supported over the years. Baruch is a passionate servant of God and I know we will be in for a wonderful blessing as he opens the precious Word of God to our hearts.

A special word of thanks to Matt Abraham who brought a tremendous message to our flock on Sunday on thankfulness. We are so blessed to have so many capable men at our church who can open up the Word of God and share it in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The summer is nearly over and we had a wonderful time with the Malam family who came over and spent several weeks in our midst. Many of our Berean family commented on how much they enjoyed their fellowship and the time with the Malam children. These opportunities to have people over from England and other countries is a great blessing to our assemble. Fellowship in Christ is a wonderful way to revive and encourage the soul.

God bless our Berean Family,

Pastor Dickie

The Cry From Constantinople

The Cry From Constantinople

This book is a tribute to all those who fought and died for the defense of Constantinople, and to all the women and children who suffered the most horrendous cruelties at the hands of the Sultan's army.  Your sorrows and tragedy at Constantinople will not be forgotten.

On May 29, 1453 the great city of Constantinople fell at the hands of the Muslim army.  On that day their defense faltered and broke, and when the waves of Muslim warriors poured into the city they pillaged and ravished the churches and women.  This atrocity has changed the history of Europe forever.

The author of this book is a fictional character being potrayed that he was living in Constantinople when it fell.  He is writing this book as a warning to modern day Europe not to neglect the cry which still echoes from Constantinople.

This is a book every Christian should read. The Christian church is being persecuted all over the world by radical and militant Muslims. This book will wake you up to the great dangers facing the West.

This can be purchased on your kindle, nook, and iPhone.
