A great story From Beto!

During our trip to Brasil Mary, Bill, Jeremy and I spent time in the home of Beto and Flavia. Beto told us the story of the wonderful conversion of Carlos Borges. This is an encouragement to all of us to witness and to trust God for real and powerful conversions by the work of the Holy Spirit.

 

As we consider our responsibility to witness and to share our faith we must remember that many whom we love are in danger of eternal judgment. We have a great Savior and a great Gospel. Let us proclaim it far and wide.

 

John says, "That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ." I John 1:3

Second Interview With Renaldo

Here is the second interview with Renaldo Lidorio. He is the young man who has been such a blessing and had such an influence on the people of Brasil and Africa. May the Lord encourage us all to be faithful in our witness to Christ.

While I have been down in Knoxville, Tennessee dropping Jeremy off for school I have had wonderful opportunities to share Christ with those that the Lord has providentially brought into my life. It is my prayer that all of us at Berean will take every opportunity to share the message of the gospel of Christ. There is no greater joy than to have such opportunities to witness for Christ. We lose many blessings and precious times of God's presence if we neglect these divine moments that He sends our way to tell others about Christ.

Today, if you will pray for opportunities to talk to someone about Christ, be alert for He will give you an opportunity to tell someone the great gospel story.

Interview with Renaldo Lidorio

While we were in Brasil we met a remarkable young man who is a tremendous leader among the Brasilian Christians. Renaldo Lidorio has been used of God to bring the gospel to many in Africa and in the Amazon in Brasil. His leadership, his godly life, his ability to translate the Bible into various dialects and his deep love for Christ is amazing.  Renaldo is truly an  apostle among the people of Brasil. I was instantly drawn to this young man and found a true brother in Christ. I trust you will enjoy the two interviews we did with him while visiting Beto and Flavia in Recife.

Crown in Brasil

We are having a wonderful time. I was very pleased to learn that all of my Brazilian friends and their churches have been using materials from Crown Financial Ministries for many years. These are Reformed Presbyterian churches who love the doctrines of grace.

Our time in Brazil has been wonderful. Pastor Bill Tipton brought an amazing message on the Beauty of the Lord out of Psalm 27:4. We are overwhelmed by the warm and hungry response from the believers here to the preaching of the Word of God.

Our conference in Brasilia begins tonight with my first message on The Reformation and The Sufficiency of Scripture.
